N°00 did not arrive finished. It was five years of versions.
Some of those versions were not failures — they were simply right for someone else. An all-natural formula. Another for people who train hard. A third written for skin that reacts to almost everything. Rather than throw them away, we keep them here.
Archive formulas are part of the SEVRE library, available to order. Stored like all of our products — climate-controlled and light-protected from UV degradation. Tell us about your skin and we'll answer honestly, including when the answer is that N°00 is the better choice.
A · I — 2019
Where it started.
Three oils I brought home from Egypt — myrrh, sweet almond, argan — in the proportions I used on my own face every night for two years. Nothing modern in it. It is not the most sophisticated thing I have ever made. It is the reason everything after it exists.
A · II — 2021
All natural. Nothing synthetic. No apologies.
For people who want their skincare to be food, not chemistry. Cold-pressed oils and botanical extracts only — no synthetics of any kind. It will not do what N°00 does; nothing all-natural can. What it does is comfort, soften, and calm a face that has been through too much weather.
A · III — 2023
For skin that sweats for a living.
Built for the gym bag. Light enough to put on before training and forget about, so sweat and salt have something to sit on other than bare skin. Afterward it calms the flush and puts back what a hot shower took out. No fragrance, no sting, nothing that runs into your eyes.
A · IV — 2024
For skin that reacts to everything.
The shortest formula we make. A handful of ingredients, each one chosen because it is boring in the best sense — nothing that stings, nothing that flushes, no fragrance, no essential oils, no actives at all. Written for skin that has been over-treated, over-exfoliated, or is simply thin and reactive by nature.

The version before this one.
The formula N°00 was, one revision ago. A few people preferred it, which is why it is still here. Slightly richer, slightly slower, and without the renewal work that defines Evolution V. If you have tried both and want the older one back, this is where you find it.
If none of these are right, the house formula probably is.
