N°00 — The Formula

Why it’s
here.

N°00 is built around a small number of treatment systems, each chosen for a specific role. Together, they support renewal, tone, resilience, barrier function, and the visible quality of the skin.

The formula is anhydrous by design. It is intended to sit beneath whatever moisturizer the skin prefers.

  1. ICellular resilience
  2. IIOil-soluble vitamin C
  3. IIIPeptide support
  4. IVRenewal
  5. VBiomimetic barrier support

I

Cellular resilience

  • Teprenone

Included for its role in supporting skin under environmental and oxidative stress.

II

Oil-soluble vitamin C

  • Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate

A lipid-compatible form of vitamin C chosen for tone, luminosity, antioxidant support, and the appearance of firmness.

III

Peptide support

  • Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1

A signal peptide used to support the appearance of firmer, smoother skin.

  • Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7

Paired with it to support skin that looks calmer and more resilient.

IV

Renewal

  • Trifarotenyl Caprylate

A new-generation, oil-compatible retinoid-pathway ingredient used at a low level to support texture, clarity, and visible renewal.

  • Bakuchiol

A well-established oil-soluble active selected for smoother texture, clearer-looking skin, and visible signs of aging.

  • Bakuchyl Nicotinate

A complementary bakuchiol-derived active included for additional signaling support in an oil-compatible form.

V

Biomimetic barrier support

A blend of ceramide-like lipids, sterols, essential-fatty-acid derivatives, phospholipids, and skin-compatible emollients designed to support the structure and comfort of the skin barrier.

  • Cetylhydroxyproline Palmitamide

A ceramide-inspired lipid used to support surface lipid organization.

  • Squalane

A lightweight lipid with close affinity to the skin’s own sebum.

  • Brassica Campestris Sterols

Plant-derived sterols that complement the formula’s fatty-acid and ceramide-like components.

  • Glyceryl Linoleate & Glyceryl Linolenate

Essential-fatty-acid derivatives included as part of the barrier-supporting lipid system.

Supporting

Supporting actives

These are not presented as separate “technologies.” They are here because they make the treatment more complete.

  • Glabridin

A concentrated licorice-derived active used to support more even-looking tone and visibly calm skin.

  • Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract

Included for comfort, visible calm, and resilience.

  • Bisabolol

A soothing oil-soluble active that helps keep the renewal system comfortable in daily use.

  • Butyl Avocadate

Selected for oily, combination, and blemish-prone skin to support more balanced sebum.

Antioxidant

Antioxidant network

Rather than relying on a single antioxidant, N°00 uses several lipid-compatible systems with complementary roles.

  • Rubinity / Haematococcus Pluvialis-derived carotenoids

Used primarily for the formula’s warm, living tint, with antioxidant activity as an additional benefit.

  • Tocotrienols & Tocopherol

Members of the vitamin E family used to support both the formula and the skin against oxidative stress.

  • Solanum Lycopersicum Fruit Extract

A tomato-derived carotenoid complex that broadens the antioxidant system.

  • Diethylhexyl Syringylidenemalonate

Included to help protect sensitive oils and actives from oxidation and light.

The Biomimetic Sensory Experience

Where the natural part comes from.

A significant part of N°00 begins with recognizable natural materials: meadowfoam seed, Centella leaf, licorice root, grape seed, sunflower seed, rapeseed, avocado, tomato, and microalgae.

They are not included because they are natural. They are included because, in the forms chosen, they serve the formula.

Overhead arrangement of the natural raw materials in SEVRE N°00 — astaxanthin microalgae powder, centella leaves, licorice root, green tomato, citrus, chamomile, grape, sunflower, jojoba, meadowfoam and rapeseed seeds, avocado and olive — laid out on dark paper beside a vial of the finished oil.
Raw materials — N°00, Evolution V
  • 01

    Blood-red microalgae

Freshwater algae grown into deep red astaxanthin, the pigment it makes to survive light.

  • 02

    Centella leaf

A marsh herb picked for its calming madecassoside; comfort for skin that reacts easily.

  • 03

    Meadowfoam seed

An unusually stable oil that carries the formula and resists oxidation.

  • 04

    Grape seed

A by-product of the harvest, cold-pressed for a light, polyphenol- and linoleic-rich oil.

  • 05

    Sunflower seed

Linoleic acid the skin uses as a raw material for its own support.

  • 06

    Green tomato

Carotenoids from unripe fruit, working alongside astaxanthin rather than beneath it.

  • 07

    Citrus fruit

The origin of vitamin C, here in an oil-soluble form that survives an anhydrous formula.

  • 08

    Chamomile flower

The source of bisabolol, used to quiet visible redness and keep renewal comfortable.

  • 09

    Licorice root

The root’s purified fraction, used for evenness of tone.

  • 10

    Rapeseed

Plant sterols and a gentle glycolipid ferment that reinforce the barrier lipid system.

  • 11

    Daikon seed

Radish seed, responsible for the powder-soft, dry finish.

  • 12

    Avocado stone

A lipid fraction from the fruit, for balance in oilier skin.

  • 13

    Olive-derived squalane

A biomimetic lipid, plant-derived and fermented rather than animal.

Architecture

The lipid and delivery architecture

The base is designed to carry a high treatment load without feeling heavy.

  • C13-15 Alkane

Creates the quick, dry opening and helps the formula disappear into the skin.

  • Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil

A highly stable botanical oil that gives the formula body and cushion.

  • Neopentyl Glycol Diheptanoate

Adds a soft, velvety glide without heaviness.

  • C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate

A dry-feeling ester that also helps keep difficult actives evenly incorporated.

  • Squalane

    Adds skin-compatible softness and playtime.

  • Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride

A stable carrier and emollient used where needed for oil-soluble actives.

  • Dimethyl Isosorbide

Used only as required to support difficult actives and their distribution.

Sensory

Sensory finish

  • Raphanus Sativus Seed Extract

Contributes to the soft, dry finish.

  • Boron Nitride

Adds slip and subtle optical refinement.

  • Structured lipid system

Provides cushion and helps keep the formula uniform without turning it into a heavy oil.
